Fumana scoparia Pomelit is a subshrub plant. Stems up to 30 cm tall, hairy-glandulous; the fertile ones devoid of leaves at the top. Leaves alternate, linear, obtuse, mucronate, glandular, ciliate. Pedicels with numerous multicellular, glandular and patent hairs. External sepals glandular especially on the margin; the internal hairy-glandulous ones. Glabrous capsule, with 6-12 seeds. Seeds dark, almost black.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Apr-Jun,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Medit.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
