Trifolium resupinatum L., it is an annual herb, up to 10-40 cm, glabrous, ascending or diffuses. Leaflets oval, wedge-shaped, strongly veined, denticulate, petioles and peduncles glabrous. Pink flowers, sessile, in heads at the end subglobose, tight, hairy, on axillary peduncles longer than the leaf. Fruiting calyx swollen into a membranous bladder, veined in a network, with 10 ribs, with 2 lips, the upper one ovoid-conical, hairy, ending in 2 long divaricate points. Corolla inverted, standard below. Pods shortly ovoid, enclosed by inflated calyx, without beak.
