Geranium rotundifolium L., it is an annual herb, covered with spreading hairs. Stems 10 to 40 cm, erect or diffuse. Leaves all long petiolate, orbicular-rounded, palmatifid, with 5 to 7 corner lobes, almost as wide as they are long, marked with a reddish dot in the sinuses. Pink flowers, small, 1-1.6 (-2) cm across, biflorous peduncles, shorter than the leaves, pedicels longer than the calyx. Sepals spreading, briefly mucronate, hairy. Petals entire, slightly beyond the calyx, with a short, glabrous tab. Stamens with glabrescent filaments. Mericarps 2.5-3 mm long neither wrinkled nor ridged. smooth and hairy, beak 12-18 (-20) mm long (including style), patent hairy, hairs glandular and eglandular. Seeds ovoid-subglobose, dark brown, c. 2 mm long and broad, reticulately-pitted.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Apr,   Vern:—————,   Phytochoria: ES+MED+IT, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, Europe to Himalaya, N. Africa.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
