Hypericum empetrifolium Willd., it is a shrub up to 10-60 cm tall, with strict erect  to procumbent branches. Leaves sub sessile, 3 in each whorl, linear, 4-15 x 1.5-2.0 mm, glabrous, gland-dotted, margin revolute, and lip obtuse. Inflorescence an elongated branched panicle with simple cymes or flowers solitary. Flowers pedicellate, bracteate. Sepals 1-2.5 mm long, oblong elliptic, with sessile marginal black glands. Petals 5-10 mm long, oblong-elliptic, deciduous. Capsule 4-6 mm long, narrowly ovoid, glaucous, shining. Seeds c.1 mm long, 0.5 mm broad. elliptic, papillose.  Life Form: N.Ph,   Flowering in: Mar-Jun,   Vern:—————-,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is N. Albania, Central & S. Greece to W. Türkiye and NE. Libya.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
