Sideritis montana L., it is an erect wooly annual, up to 30 cm. Leaves 5-15 x 2-5 mm, oblong-lanceolate, remotly dentate above, Verticils, 6-flowered, approximared. Bracts oblong, spiny, mucronate, longer than the calyx. Calyx-tube 5-7 mm, teeth 3-4 mm, oblong, ovate spiny, mucronate or aristat, the arista c. 2 mm long. Corolla yellow, turning brownish, limb short, exsreted, slightly longer than calyx.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Mar-Apr,   Vern:—————-,   Phytochoria: MED+ES+IT, The native range of this species is Medit. to Xinjiang and W. Himalaya.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
