Ballota andreuzziana Pamp., it is a perennial herb, up to c. 40 cm tall. Stem herbaceous, divaricately branched, sparsely floccose. Leaves ovate 3.5 x 2.5-3 cm, base truncate, obtuse, crenate, beautifully variegated, green above, rugulose and puberulent beneath with raised reticulate venation, both simple and stellate hairy and pubescently nerved, petiole c. 2 cm long, patently hirsute. Verticils remote, 4-8-(10)-f1owered, bracteoles filiform, peduncles 2 mm long with equally long, short acuminate spines. Calyx including teeth 13-14 mm long, obconical-tubular, glandular pubescent, teeth 2.5-3 mm long, slightly triangular, with equally long spines, caducous. Corolla 4 mm long, raised above clayx tube, tube included, posterior lip white tomentose.  Life Form: Ch ,   Flowering in: Mar-Apr,   Vern:————,   Phytochoria: Endemic, The native range of this species is Libya.   Notes: Wild in Libya, Endemic in Al-Jabal Al-Akhder.
