Cleome amblyocarpa Barratte & Murb., it is an annual to perennilting herb. up to 40 cm tall, and sometimes with very thick tuberous root, erect, branched. Glandular-pubescent, petiolate leaves and disagreeable smell, leaflets oblong-elliptic. 5-25 x 2-10 mm. usually with rounded apices. Flowers across on lax elongated bracteates raceems. Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: All the year,   Vern: Umm Al-jalajel,   Phytochoria: SA+SZ+SS,  The native range of this species is N. & NE. Tropical Africa, W. & SW. Asia.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
