Crocus boulosii Greuter, it is a geophyte herbaceous, bulb form corms, up to 1.5 (-2) cm across, covered by clear brown, fibrous tunics, scape leafy, up to 5 cm tall, erect. Leaves 5-9, needle-like, grow always in two ranks, up to 80 x 1-2.5 mm, appears with flowers. flowers regular, brown-yellowish in colour. Perianth funnel-shaped, segments equal, oblong, obtuse. Stamens 3, shorter than segments. Style filiform, with terminal stigmas. Capsule oblong, 1.9-2.4 cm long, Seeds numerous with membranous testa. Life Form: G, Flowering in:——————, Vern:—————, Phytochoria: Endemic, The native range of this species is Libya (Cyrenaica). Notes: Wild in Libya.
