Erodium touchyanum Delile ex Godr., it is an annual herbs, very hairy, 6–13 (–37) cm high. Leaves pinnate with leaflets ordinarily bipinnatisect. Umbels provided with 1–8 flowers. Sepals densely glandular-pubescent, especially towards the base, provided with a terminal mucron that turns purple in fruiting; petals pink, almost always tinged purple at the base. Pale orange pollen. Mericarps provided with short, erect hairs, whitish and amber in color; broad glandular foveolae with a single notable and glandular infrafoveolar groove. Edge with a characteristic tuft of long hairs that originates at its base.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Mar-Jun,   Vern:———-,   Phytochoria: SA, The native range of this species is Canary Islands (Fuertaventura), N. Africa to Iran.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
