Geranium dissectum L., it is an annual herb, covered with spreading hairs. Stems 10 to 40 cm, erect or ascending. Leaves orbicular, palmatized with 5 to 7 segments cut almost to the petiole into linear lobes. Flowers pinkish-purple to white, 8-12 mm across, small, biflorous peduncles, shorter than or equal to the leaf, pedicels barely longer than the calyx. Sepals spreading, ridged, not curved at the edges, with spreading, glandular hairs, Petals emarginate, equal to the calyx, with a short and ciliate tab. Stamens with ciliated filaments inferiorly. Mericarps 2-3 mm long, neither transversely ridged, not wrinkled, densely parent hairy, hairs cglandular, beak 8-12 mm long, patently glandular nor eglandular hairy. Seeds subglobose, c. 1.5 mm in diameter, pitted-reticulate.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Apr,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: S.Cosm, The native range of this species is Europe to W. & Central Asia, N. Africa.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
