Herniaria hirsuta L., it is an annual plants, gray-green, densely pubescent, the stems prostrate to ascending, 4-20 cm. Leaves opposite proximally, often alternate distally, stipules 0.5-1.3 mm, blade elliptic to oblanceolate, 3-12 mm, hirsute or ciliate, ad-axial surface sometimes glabres-cent., Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Mar-Apr, Vern:———–, Phytochoria: ES+MED+IT, The native range of this species is Europe to Central Asia and W. Himalaya, NW. & NE. Africa to Arabian Peninsula. Notes: Wild in Libya, medicinal plant.
