Hypericum pubescens Boiss., it is a perennial or subshrub, decumbent to prostrate, many tomentose branches from the base. Leaves oblong to ovate, 5-20 mm long, 3-10 mm broad, obtuse, hairy on both surfaces. Inflorescence a lax dichasial cyme becoming monochasial. Bracts linear, 5-10 mm long, hairy. Sepals 5-10 mm long, acute to acuminate, with marginal black glands. Petals yellow, 9-15 mm long, with marginal glands. Life Form: H, Flowering in: Apr-Jun, Vern:—————-, Phytochoria: MED+SA, The native range of this species is S. Iberian Peninsula to Malta, Morocco to NW. Libya. Notes: Wild in Libya.
