Nepeta scordotis L., it is a perennial herb up to 30-00 cm tall, erect, un branched, hirsute to nearly tomentose, canescent, Stem quadrangular, leafy. Leaves 3-6 x 0.5-4 cm, broadly ovate-chordate, crenate, hirsute mostly petiolate, obtuse, sub rotund. Floral leaves sessile, entire rotundo-ovate, Flowers arranged in spike like verticils, interrupted below, congested above. Bracts 10- 13 x 7-13 mm, ovate, acute, villose, bracteoles smaller, ovate lanceolate. Calyx 9-12 mm long, densely hirsute hairy, straight, 10-veined, 5-toothed. teeth equal, 4-5 mm long. Corolla white, 16-17 mm, hispid outside, lube included, 2 times as long as the calyx, gradually widening up, excrreted. Nutlets ± globose, smooth, 1.5 x 1.5 mm.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Mar-May,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is S. Aegean Reg.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
