Plantago bellardii All. //Infraspecifics: Plantago bellardii ssp. bellardii, it is an annual plant 3-15 cm, hairy-whitish, with very slender roots; scapes erect, stiff, not streaked, barely equal to or slightly exceeding the leaves, bristling with long spreading hairs; leaves erect, linear lanceolate, attenuated in petiole, with 3 veins; spike hairy, short, oblong or oval, tight; bracts lanceolate-acuminate, herbaceous, with spreading hairs; sepals equal, ovate-oblong, narrowly scarious; corolla reddish white, glabrous, with ovate-lanceolate lobes; ovoid capsule, with 2 oval seeds, canaliculated on the inner side.
