Pseudodictamnus hirsutus (Willd.) Salmaki & Siadati // Infraspecifics: Pseudodictamnus hirsutus ssp. hirsutus / Heterotypic Synonyms:  Ballota hirsuta Benth., it is a suffrutescent perennial up to 50-75 (100) cm tall. Stems hirsute with glandular and eglandular simple and stellate hairs intermixed with papillae and glands. Leaves 3-6 x 3-5 cm, chordate or truncate at base, ovate or sub orbicular, crenate, petioles 5-40 mm, Bractcoles 3-8 mm, linear-subulate to oblanceolate, membranous. Verticils many flowered. Calyx 10-12 mm, campanulate, limb 8-10 mm in diameter, irregularly dentate, lobes 10 or more, up 102 mm, triangular-acuminate, sometimes dentate, mucronulate. Corolla 14-16 mm, purple or while, densely hairy outside.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Mar-Jul,   Vern:—————–,   Phytochoria: MED+SA, The native range of this species is W. Medit to Central Sahara.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
