Pseudodictamnus mediterraneus Salmaki & Siadati / Homotypic Synonyms:  Ballota pseudodictamnus (L.) Benth., it is a perennial plant woody at base, up to30-50cm, yellow tomentose. Middlecauline leaves 2-3 x 1.5-2 cm. broadly ovate or subcordate, thick, petiole 2-4 mm. Calyx 8-10 mm, funnel shaped, limb 7-8 mm in diam, irregularly crenate, 5-10-lobed, the largest lobe up to 2 mm, triangular-acuminate, ± mucronate. Corolla 14-15 mm, pink.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Jun-Jul,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is S. Aegean Reg., SW. Türkiye, NE. Libya to NW. Egypt.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
