Stachys tournefortii Poir., it is a perennial plant up to 30-100 cm tall, densely covered with white lanate-tomentose, eglandular hairs. Leaves densely white-tomentose, 2.5-9.0 x 0.5-4 cm, ovate-oblong or ovate, cordate at base, petiole 1.5-6.5. cm long. Upper bracts shorter than flowers, bracteoles lanceolate, densely hairy. Calyx6-12 mm, densely eglandular hairy, teeth equal, c, 1/3 as long as tube. Corolla pink-purplish 15-20 mm with upper lip, hairy on outside. Nutlets obovoid, smooth, 2.4 x 1.8 mm,  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Apr-Jul,   Vern:—————,   Phytochoria: Near-endemic, The native range of this species is Kriti, Libya.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
