Teucrium campanulatum L., it is a perennial sub glabrous herb, 10-30 cm long. Stem decumbent, sparsely hairy above, rooting at the base. Leaves tripartite, the segments pinnatifid, lobes linear or linear-spathulate, dentate. Flowers arranged in 2-4-flowered verticil with leaf-like, bracts, longer than the flowers. Calyx campanulate, ± glabrous, teeth equal to twice as long as the tube, acute or acuminate, spinescent. Corolla c. 5 mm long, whitish, with lower lip exceeding the calyx. Stemens shortly exserted.  Life Form: H,   Flowering in: May-Aug,   Vern: Jaada,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is SW. & E. Spain to SE. Italy, N. Africa.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
