Teucrium decaisnei C.Presl  / Homotypic Synonyms:  Teucrium pilosum (Decne.) Asch. & Schweinf.,   it is a  viscid shrub up to 20-40 cm, stem green or purple, grey-hirsute, woody below, branches erect, simple or sparingly branched. Leaves sessile, oblong to linear, margin convolute, obtusely pectinate or crenate lobed. Heads large, terminal, globular, 1 cm in diam, dense, solitary or 2-3 in a cluster. Subtending leaves shorter than flower, bracts linear plumose. Clayx glandular, punctate and hirsute, upper 3 teeth triangular-ovate, lower 2 longer and narrow. Corolla white, 1 1/2 as long as the calyx Anthers slightIy exserted.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: May-Jun,   Vern:————–,   Phytochoria: SA,  Notes: Wild in Libya.
