| Teucrium divaricatum Sieber ex Heldr., Dwarf shrub up to 20-40 cm, branched from base, greyish tomentose to villous or green and glabrescent, stems decumbent or ascending, quadrangular, purplish, ending in lax unilateral racemes. Leaves petiolate, petiole shorter than the breadth of the lamina. (5-) 12-25 x (3.5-) 6-15 mm, ovate, coriaceous, slightly crenate or incised revolute-margined. Verticil 2-6-flowered usually lax, ± second. Calyx ciliolate, equal or slightly longer than the pedicels, 7-8 mm long, tubal, cmpanulate, sub gibbous at base, purplish, teeth lanceolate, ± equal snorter than tube. Corolla pink or purplish, twice as long as calyx tube. Stamens long-exserted. Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: Apr-May , Vern:———–, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is E. Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
