Trifolium fragiferum L., it is a perennial plant, 10 to 30 cm, pubescent, prostrate-rooting. Leaflets oval, strongly veined, denticulate, petiole, and hairy peduncles. Pink flowers, sessile, in subglobose heads, dense, hairy at maturity, axillary, long pedunculated. Bracteoles large, lanceolate, united in an involucre equal to the calyxes. Fruiting calyx swollen into a membranous, bladder, veined in a network, with 10 ribs, with 2 lips, the upper one arranged in a helmet and ending in 2 short, projecting, non-divaricate points. Corolla neither upside down nor scarious.
