Vicia tetrasperma (L.) Schreb., it is an annual herb, up to 20-50 cm, glabrescent, slender; leaves with 3-5 pairs of linear-oblong, obtuse leaflets, simple or bifurcated tendrils, upper stipules entire. Lilac flowers veined with purple, small (4-5 mm), 1-2 on capillary peduncles, not ridged, shorter than or equal to the leaf. Calyx with unequal teeth. Corolla twice as long as the calyx. Pods 9-12 mm by 3-4, sub cylindrical, rounded at the top and without beak, almost always glabrous, with 4 seeds, hilum oblong-linear, equal to the 5th of the outline of the seed.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Apr,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: Pal, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, Temp. Eurasia to Indian Subcontinent, N. Africa.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
