Herniaria fontanesii J.Gay , it is a perennial plant, light green herb with woody root stock, prostrate to sub erect, spreading to 30 cm, with delfexed lomenlose, 1-20 mm long inter nodes, the leaves sessile, opposite. alternate in floral region, linear-oblong or linear~lanceolate, 4-10 x 2-3 mm. , Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Mar-May,   Vern: ———–,   Phytochoria: MED+SA, The native range of this species is Canary Islands, Sahara and Sinai.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
