Sedum laconicum Boiss. & Heldr. , it is a succulent perennial ascending glabrous. Sterile shoots present, sending numerous sterile rosettes which are sometimes± pedunculate on loose leafy and erect portion. Flowering stems 5-10 cm long, bearing below the usual terminal cyme 1-3 axillary cymes. Leaves oblanceolate to narrowly obovate, sessile, spurred at base, 5-10 x 2-3 mm, obtuse or slightly tapering, often reddish. Inflorescence a paniculate terminal cyme, 2-3 branched; each branch 3-8 flowered, with 1-3 lateral cymes. Flowers 5-merous, sessile or sub sessile. Sepals ± connate at the base ovoid, 2-3 mm. Petals 4-5 mm, bright yellow, with red mid-vein. Stamens 10. Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: Apr- May, Vern:———, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is E. Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
