Umbilicus mirus (Pamp.) Greuter / Homotypic Synonyms: Sedum mirum Pamp. , it is asucculent annual herb simple up to 10-15 (-20) cm long, flowering throughout. Basal leaves orbicular, subpeltate, cordate, sinuate-crenate, (1-) 2-3 (-4) cm. with petioles (1-) 2-4 (-8) cm long. Bracts foliaceous, gradually becoming smaller above, upper most ones sessile, dentate, 3-5 mm long. Inflorescence pyramidale, panicled, with many flowered branches, the lower ones 3-5 cm long. Flowers yellowish, 3-4 mm long, pediccls, sepals 1.5 mm long, linear; petals 4 mm long, stamens 2 mm long, 10, anthers reniform, nectariferous scales oblong, emarginatc. Follicles 4 mm long.
