Ajuga chamaepitys (L.) Schreb., it is a plant, up to 5-20 cm, entirely herbaceous, hairy-bristly, with a strong odor; stems diffuse-ascending, branching and flowering from the base, very leafy; leaves attenuated at the base, with 3 entire linear divaricate segments, the lower ones only entire or trilobed, yellow flowers, axillary, geminate, long exceeded by the leaves; calyx bristly, with somewhat unequal, lanceolate teeth, as long as the tube; corolla with a narrow, barely protruding tube.   Life Form: H,   Flowering in: Apr-Oct,   Vern:———,   Phytochoria: MED+IT+ES, The native range of this species is W. & Central Europe, Medit. to Central Asia and Arabian Peninsula.   Notes: Wild in Libya, medicinal plant.
