Malva nicaeensis All., it is an annual or biennial herb. Stem erect or ascending, strigosdy hairy with simple hairs. Stipules c. 3 mm long, hairy on the margin. Petiole up to 4 cm long, lamina sub orbicular, often 3-5-lobed, crenate, up to 2.5 x 3 cm, glabrous to hairy above, sparsely hairy below. Epicalyx c. 3 mm long. Calyx 1.5-4 mm long, pubescent, teeth broadly triangular, c .2 mm long, enlarging in fruit. Petals 8-I2 mm long, white, violet to lilac-pink. Mericarps hairy or glabrous, reticulate, adjacent margins smooth. Life Form: Th , Flowering in: Apr-Jun, Vern: Khobaiz, Phytochoria: MED+IT, The native range of this species is Azores, Medit. to Pakistan. Notes: Wild in Libya.
