Linaria triphylla (L.) Mill., it is a sturdy glabrous, glaucescent, ascending or erect annual herb, 20-30 (-45) cm. Stem 1 to several, somewhat thickish with short sterile shoots at the base. Leaves somewhat fleshy, mostly whorled or opposite, usually in whorls of 3, sessile, broadly elliptic or ovate, obtuse; uppermost leaves sometimes attenuate in a short petiole, 10-20 (-25) x (8-) 10-15 mm. Flowers almost sub sessile in spike-like raceme, becoming lax and elongated in fruit. Bracts oblong-oblanceolate, 6-10 x 1.5·2.5 (-3) mm. Calyx lobes ovate or oblong, glabrous, obtuse, sub equal, 4-8 x2-3 mm. Corolla creamy white with orange yellow palate, 12-15 mm long, spur liliac, incurved, 5-9 mm long, acute. Capsule 4-6 (-7) x c. 5 mm, globose or ovoid, glabrous. Seeds many, deeply angled, alveolate, black 1-1.5 x .5-.75 mm.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: May-Jun,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Medit.  Notes: Wild in Libya, weed in wheat fields.
