Veronica cymbalaria Bodard, it is an annual, decumbent to ascending, pubescent, usually densely branched, 10-30 cm long. Petiole in lower leaves 5-30 mm, mostly eglandular pubescent on side, very rarely glandular or ± glabrous; lamina 6-20 x 9-20 mm, 5-9 lobed, sub equal lobes and a truncate subcordate or cuneate base. Flowers white, spreading or recurved, eglandular or glandular pubescent, up to 15-30 mm in fruit. Calyx 3-5 mm long, segments ovate at sub ovate, obtuse spreading in fruit covered with erect, spreading coarse hairs. Corolla 6-10 (-12) mm in diameter. Capsule slightly 2-lobcd, transversely ellipsoid, with a keel, covered with long glandular or eglandular hairs. 2.5-3.5 x 3.5-4.5 mm; style c. 1.5 mm long. Seeds c. 4, sub globose 2-2.5 x 2-2.5 mm. cup-shaped, ruglose, orange-brownish.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Jan-Mar ,   Vern:—————,   Phytochoria: MED+IT, The native range of this species is Medit. to W. Iran and Arabian Peninsula. Notes: Wild in Libya.
