Abutilon fruticosum Guill. & Perr., it is a perennial herb to semi-shrub, reaching a height of 40–100(–150) cm, branches covered by grey-white. The leaves are petiolate, lanceolate to broadly ovate, 1–8(–10) cm long, heart-shaped at the base, almost entire or serrate to toothed. Stipules are filiform, 3–5 mm long. Flowers grow singly on peduncles up to 5 cm long from leaf axils, calyx 4–6 mm long, petals lanceolate to ovate, pointed, hairy, corolla averages 9–12 mm, petals ovate, 5–7 mm long , yellow. Stamen column is very short, hairy. The fruit is fleshy, 7–10 mm long, there are 8–10 broods, they are pointed at the top. Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: Jan-May, Vern:————–, Phytochoria: Pal , The native range of this species is Tropical & S. Africa to NW. India, Arizona to Arkansas and Mexico. Notes: Wild in Libya.
