Asparagus acutifolius L., it is a scrambling perennial plant reaches on average 30–70 cm of height, the stems have much-branched feathery foliage. The “leaves” are in fact needle-like modified stems., Life Form: G, Flowering in: Aug-Sep., Vern: Sakkoom, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Medit.  Notes: Wild in Libya, in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 2014.
