Convolvulus siculus L. , it is an annual plant, Stems simple or branched, ascending, prostrate or somewhat erect, up to 60 cm tall, pilose with brownish hairs. Leaf-blade oblong-lanceolate, up to 5 cm long and 2 cm wide, acute or acuminate at the apex, cuneate or truncate at the base, sparingly pilose; petiole about 1 cm long. Inflorescence 1–3-flowered; peduncle up to 2.5 cm long; bracts long and elliptic or small and linear; pedicels about 6–10 mm long. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, 5–6 mm long , 1.5–2 mm wide, acute, pilose. Corolla white tinged bluish-lilac, about 6 mm long. Capsule about 6 mm in diameter. Seeds black, roughened, about 2 mm long.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Mar-Jun,   Vern:————,   Phytochoria: MED+SA+SZ, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, Medit. to Iran and Tanzania, Arabian Peninsula, India.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
