Crassula vaillantii (Willd.) Roth, it is a herbaceous plant, annual, erect or rarely decumbent, 3-10 cm high, glabrous, with dichotomous branches; loosely leafed stems and branches.’ Leaves’ sessile, connate at the base, 1-4 mm long, linear or subulate, obtuse or subacute, significantly smaller than the internodes. Solitary flowers, 4- but also 3- and 5. pedicel slender, slender, erect, as long or longer than the leaves; sepals fused to mid-height, oval, obtuse, 1/3 or less shorter than the petals; petals ovate, obtusiuscules, 1.5 mm long; stamens almost as long as the petals, with a subulate filament; anthers broadly oval; ovary subtrigonal, with 2-12 ovules, most often 10-12.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: May-Jun,   Vern:————,   Phytochoria: MED+ES, The native range of this species is Medit. to Xinjiang, S. Africa.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
