Euphorbia pterococca Brot., it is an erect annual herb, up to 30 cm tall, often with axillary rays below the terminal onc (or branching above). Leaves exstipulate, alternate, oblong-obovate or spathulate, obtuse, serrulate, the lower shortly petiolate. Ray leaves like the cauline; caylel leaves chombic-ovate. Rays 5 (rarely more), trichotomous then dichotomous, slender. 10-20 mm long. Glands transversely ovate, without pctaloid appendages. Capsules 1.5 mm. smooth, with 2 undulated wings on each valve. Seeds 1.3 mm, alveolate-reticulate, dark brown. Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Feb-May, Vern:————, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
