Euphorbia serrata L., it is a perennial herb, rhizomatous, glabrous, with a ± lignified base, which can reach up to 45 cm high. Cauline leaves alternate, sessile, markedly toothed, the lower ones linear-oblong, the upper ones ovate-lanceolate. Pleocasium usually with 3–5 rays, often bifurcated once or twice; pleocasial bracts ovate-lanceolate to suborbicular; dicasial bracts broadly ovate, yellowish. Fruits 5–6 x 4–5 mm, long pediceled, glabrous, markedly sulcate, dehiscent into three rounded cocae. Seeds  3 x 2 mm, carunculate, cylindrical, with a finely granulated, grayish surface. Caruncle  0.8 x 1.5 mm, with a truncated, stipitate base.  Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in:————,   Vern:—————–,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Canary Islands, W. & Central Medit.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
