Fumaria bastardii Boreau, it is an annual a small, robust plant. similar to the Fumaria capreolata L., but racemes longer than the peduncle, bracts 1/2-2/3 as long as the straight erect or sub erect fruiting pedicel and flowers pink-violet with apices of inner petals (and sometimes the wings of the upper petal) dark-purple. Sepals 2-3 x 1-2 mm, ± serrate. Corolla 9-12 mm. Fruit 2-2.5 mm in diam. ovoid with a wide flattish base and ± obtuse apices, slightly keeled and smooth (or sub-rugulose). Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Des-Apr, Vern:—————, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, NW. Europe to Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
