Herniaria hemistemon J.Gay , it is a perennial plant, pale-green. herb with woody rootstock,  prostrated. spreading to 15 cm. the leaves sessile opposite, alternate in floral region. elliptic to ovate-oblong, 4-6 x 2-3 mm., Life Form: Ch,   Flowering in: Mar-Jun,   Vern:————-,   Phytochoria: SA, The native range of this species is N. Africa to S. Iran and Arabian Peninsula.  Notes: Wild in Libya, in saline and sandy ground.
