Hippocrepis unisiliquosa L. / Infraspecifics: Hippocrepis unisiliquosa ssp. bisiliqua (Forssk.) Bornm., Hippocrepis unisiliquosa ssp. unisiliquosa, it is an annual herb, glabrous to subglabrous, easily recognized by its 1 (-3) axillary flowers without a peduncle or on very short peduncle much shorter than the subtending leaf. Pods 15-40 x 4-5 mm, almost straight to subarcuate, glabrous or with the seed bearing part very shortly papillose on the seed bearing protuberances.
