Lathyrus gorgoni Parl.,  it is an annual herb ascending or climbing, glabrous  up to 60 cm long, with Stems angular to narrowly winged. Leaves ending in a tendril, stipules semi sagittate with lanceolate or ovate, acuminate upper portion, about as long as the petiole. Leaflets 1-paired, narrowly linear or oblong-lanceolate to elliptical, acuminate or mucronale, 15-80 x (1-) 2-18 mm. Peduncles about as long as sub tending leaves. 1-flowered. Flowers usually yellow, light gingery orange, 15-20 (-25) mm long, bracts small, sublease, ciliate, pedicels up to about as long as the calyx. Calyx 7-9 mm long with teeth at least twice as long as tube, spreading to deflexed in fruit, lanceolate-subulate, acuminale. Corolla over twice as long as calyx. Pods 25-50 x 5-8 mm. linear, somewhat flattened, beaked, and spreading or deflexed, 3.ridged along ventral suture, net-veined, 4-8-seeded.  Seeds 3-5 mm, sub globular, purple-brown rarely mottled with dark brown.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Apr,   Vern:————–,   Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Sardegna to Iraq.    Notes: Wild in Libya.
