| Lathyrus saxatilis (Vent.) Vis., it is a Slender sparsely pubescent annual herb up to 30 cm long. Stems not winged. Leaves without tendrils, rachis ending in a mucro, stipules subulate, semi hastate, 2-3 x o.5 mm, at least the lower irregularly toothed leaflets of lower leaves, 1-3 paired, narrowly cuneate oblong, to obcordate, 3-8 x 1.5-3 mm, 3 dentate above, leaflets of upper leaves 2-3 paired, narrowly linear, 10-30 x 0.5-1.5 mm. Peduncles 2-10 mm long, 1-flowerd. Flowers 6-9 mm long, pale blue or yellowish cream-coloured. Calyx c. 3 mm. glabrous, teeth sub equal, shorter than tube. Pods 15-25 (-30) x 4.5-6 (-7) mm, linear-oblong, glabrous, brown. 3-8-seeded, seed smooth with hilum 1\12 of the circumference.
