Linaria tarhunensis Pamp., it is a low growing, glabrous annual herb. Stem ascending with 1 to several branches, 15-30 cm long. lower leaves ternate, upper opposite, sessile, lanceolate, ± obtuse, 15-25 x (-3) 4-6 (-7) mm. Racemes elongated, up to 20 mm long in fruit, becoming congested at the apex. Bracts akin to the leaves, 6-8 x 2-3 mm; pedicel shorter than the calyx, up to 5 mm in fruit. Calyx lobes lanceolate, acute at the apex, 5-6 (-8) x 2.5-3 mm, sparingly-densely white pilose especially at the margins. Corolla violet, purple, with a pale yellow palate, shorter than spur, spur 12-18 mm long, almost straight, or slightly curved at the apex, narrowly attenuate. Capsule almost equal or somewhat shorter than calyx, globose. Seeds discoid, c. 2 mm in diameter, with c. 0.5 mm broad whitish margin; disc black, tuberculate.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Feb-Apr,   Vern:—————-,   Phytochoria: Endemic, The native range of this species is Libya.  Notes: Wild, endemic, Endangered Plant in Libya.
