Plantago crypsoides Boiss., it is an annual, acaulescent herb with a single rosette of leaves. Leaves pinnatifid- pinnatisect, linear-lanceolate, hirsute, much longer than the peduncles. Scapes many, arising rom the center of the leaf rosette, very much swollen at the base. Spikes dense, short, ovoid or oblong, green, nearly as long as the scapcs. Bracts oblong-ovate, sparsely hairy with wide scarious, ciliate margin. Corolla densely hairy in the neck.
