| Silene fruticosa L., it is a perennial plant much branched, robust, almost completely glabrous. The stems 10-30 cm tall, rather stout, flowering stems ascending to erect, sub glabrous below, ± glandular-pubescent above. The leaves basal, spathulate, acute or apiculate, retrorsely ciliolate, shining above. Life Form: Ch, Flowering in: Apr-Jun, Vern:–———, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Sicilia to Cyprus and NE. Africa. Notes: Wild in Libya.
