Trigonella laciniata L., it is a prostrate annual herb, diffusely branched from the base. Leaves petiolate, leaflets 3–6 mm long, obtriangular-oblong, acutely and sharply dentate, stipules deeply and sharply laciniate. Flowers in sessile axillary heads. Calyx 2–2.5 mm long, teeth triangular, ± half as long as the tube. Corolla twice or more as long as the calyx, yellow. Pods c. 7 × 3 mm, oblong, straight, with prominent longitudinal nerves crossed by transverse ones, sub glabrous to sparsely hairy, many-seeded. Seeds c. 1 mm long, ovoid, brown, smooth.
