| Valeriana discoidea (L.) Willd. / Homotypic Synonyms: Valerianella discoidea (L.) Loisel., it is an annual herb (1–)2–25(–30) cm tall; the stems are forked in the upper part, more sparsely simple, usually with hairs facing backwards. The leaves are opposite, the ground ones are oblong, lanceolate to lanceolate, 0.5–7(–9) cm long and 0.1–1.3(–2) cm., Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Mar-Apr, Vern: Jamir, Phytochoria: MED+IT, The native range of this species is Canary Islands, Medit. to W. Iran and Arabian Peninsula. Notes: Wild in Libya.
