Polycarpon alsinifolium (Biv.) DC., it is an annual or biennial herb. Stems up to 12 cm, decumbent, very branched at the base. Leaves 1.3-15 x 0.5-5.5 mm, elliptical-lanceolate, glabrous, papillose on the margin and median vein, somewhat fleshy, often purple. Stipules scarious, ovate-acuminate, silvery. Flowers of (2-) 2.2-3 mm., Life Form: Th, Flowering in: Mar-Jun, Vern:———–, Phytochoria: MED, The native range of this species is Canary Islands, Medit. Notes: Wild in Libya.
