Cuscuta planiflora Ten.  it is a non-green leafless  of the character of a herbaceous creeper plant. stems are winding, thin, about 0.3 mm in diameter, orange, yellowish or greenish. Inflorescences are dense balls usually of 6 flowers; flowers are small, mostly 5-merous, about 3 mm long; the calyx is bell-shaped, with fleshy, bluntly pointed tips; the crown is bell-shaped, with a tube as long as the calyx, the crown lobes tend to be pointed; stamens are 5, shorter than the corolla  . The fruits are tiny, compressed spherical capsules, the seeds are ellipsoid.  Life Form: Pa,   Flowering in: Mar-May,   Vern: Harir Ezzaater,   Phytochoria: MED+IT+SZ, The native range of this species is Macaronesia, Medit. to NW. India, Eritrea to S. Africa, Madagascar.  Notes: Wild in Libya, medicinal plant.
