Erodium laciniatum (Cav.) Willd, it is an annual herb, briefly hairy, with taproot. Stems 10-30 cm, lying or ascending. Leaves ovate, pinnatifid or almost pennatipartite, with numerous divisions, narrow, edged with acute teeth. Flowers purple, small, 3-8 in umbels on peduncles longer than the leaf, bracteoles large, and ovate-obtuse, mucronate sepals, with projecting veins. Petals oblong, a little longer than the calyx. Fruit valves without concentric fold; bill 4-6 cm long, edges have 7-8 turns.  Life Form: Th,   Flowering in: Jan-Apr,   Vern: Henet El-Ghula,  Phytochoria: MED+IT, The native range of this species is Canary Islands to SW. Pakistan.  Notes: Wild in Libya.
