| Picris pauciflora Willd., it is an annual plant. the stems 10-50 cm, with many uneven, stiff hairs. the leaves few to many, more or less rigid hairs, basal leaves 30-120 X 5-15 mm, narrowly elliptic, oblong-elliptic or lanceolate, smooth to wavy-dentate, which narrows towards the stem., Life Form: Th, Flowering in:—-, Vern:—– , Phytochoria: MED+IT, The native range of this species is Switzerland to Israel and Iran. Notes: Wild in Libya, in sandy soil with loamy top at some places.
