Tragopogon porrifolius L., it is a biannual, herbaceous, plant, with a milky sap, 0,4-1,2 m tall, equipped with a white tap root, 20-30 cm long, and little ramified stem with sessile leaves (without petiole), alternate, erect, glabrous, thin and pointed, the lower ones being 15-30 cm long and 2 cm broad, sheathing the stem at the base., Life Form: Th , Flowering in: Apr-May,   Vern: Debab El-Kheil, Phytochoria: ES+MED , The native range of this species is Canary Islands, Europe to Medit., Arabian Peninsula.   Notes: Wild in Libya.
